Issue Solution
How can I find out my son or daughter’s exam dates? Student exam timetables are visible for parents under Exams Timetable from March, although seat numbers may not be available until nearer exam time.
What is the exam Statement of Entry? The Exam Statement of Entry lists all of the qualifications and modules that your son or daughter has been entered for in the upcoming exam period. Your son or daughter can view their Statement of Entry and will be asked by their tutors to check that they have been entered for the qualifications that they expect to have been entered for. The times and dates for the exams your son or daughter will be sitting can be viewed in the Exam Timetable.
What are Access Arrangements? Access Arrangements and reasonable adjustments are agreed before exam time with the Study Support team. They allow students with special educational needs, disabilities or temporary injuries to access the assessment. For example, a student may be permitted extra time or the use of a scribe. If your son or daughter has been granted an Access Arrangement, it should appear on their Exam Timetable. If you have any inquiries regarding Access Arrangements please contact Registry.
What happens if my son or daughter is supposed to be sitting two exams at the same time? If your son or daughter has been timetabled to sit two exams at the same time, they will normally sit one paper immediately after the other. In some circumstances, Registry may move one of the papers to the alternate morning or afternoon session and they will be highlighted as having an exam clash. In this situation they will be supervised over lunch and will not be allowed contact with anyone else until they have completed their exams.
Can I view exam results through Parent Portal? Exam results are confidential to the student and are not available through Parent Portal. Your son or daughter may show you their exam results on CristalWeb.
